Ruger

The Single-Six revolver became the first factory to convert from a semiautomatic gun to a fully-automatic. The original rifle was made with a 22LR barrel, but it was quickly changed to a singlesix for a wide range of uses. The name of the rifle was changed to Service-Six later. It was also available with a 9mm Luger barrel and a 4 5/8" barrel. There have been many changes to the single-action line over the years. The Super Single-Six is no different.

Colt Model 29

Smith & Wesson gave the Model 29 designation to the first.44 Magnum firearms in December '55. The barrel length varied from three to ten-eight inches and was available in either blued or chrome. Later, stainless-steel was used in place of chrome. This model was the final to be produced by mid-1990s.

Ruger Single Six

While the current generation RUGER SLIM SIX pistol boasts many impressive features, this rimfire version was made for the generalist shooter. Contrary to many modern handguns it is difficult for the Single Six to win in this area. The Single Six may not look the most beautiful or attractive, but it is easily one the best all-around guns. It's better to buy a used Ruger than a brand new one if you're looking for a Ruger.
